I feel so lucky to live in a city where staycation are equally exciting as getaways. Sydney has many beautiful places and this time I will share with you our stay at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour. If you are looking for a luxury with a beautiful design of French touch, amazing view and dinning experience, you would love this place.

I cannot even tell how many times I have heard this French greeting from the staff and I love it! The service at the hotel is amazing, everyone is very friendly and make sure you will get your best experience.
Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour was recently voted “Australia’s Luxury Hotel of the Year & Australasia Hotel of the Year” and it is easy to understand why.
Accommodation
The hotel has 35 levels and beautiful view of Darling Harbour – you see the bay, city skyline, Anzac Bridge. We had a lovely sunset and woke up to magic sunrise. There are 590 luxurious rooms to choose from, all design in contemporary style with French touch.
We have stayed in Superior Room Darling Harbour view on level 30. The ensuite room has king size bed, large shower, very smartly designed built-in wardrobe and a very big smart TV. Rooms are designed with smart buttons that you can control the lighting during day, evening and when you are sleeping.
All things consider, the rooms are very nice!
Dinning
When it comes to dinning at Sofitel, hotel has four restaurants and bars to try. We started evening at Champagne Bar, followed by dinner at Atelier by Sofitel. This April at Sofitel is the Month of Chocolat, so we had a chance to try 3-course chocolat special menu meticulously, as well as dishes from a la carte.
Champangne Bar is very elegantly designed and I love the interior crystals, mirroring and lighting around the bar. If you are visiting the bar, do not miss to try Chili Chocolat Manhattan, this is a bonus offer for this month, so hurry up to buzz your taste buds.
Breakfast at Atelier was delicious, you have to try banana toast and ratatouille with eggs! The restaurant is open for everyone, therefore you might book your visit regardless being the hotel guest. I will be honest with you – the best is to wake up in bed to view and just go down for this feast.
Well-being
I want you to imagine soaking the sun with amazing Darling Harbour view in front of you! Personally I love Sydney city skyline and Sofitel has one of the best hotel outdoor pools in Sydney! Le Rivage Pool Bar has food and drink menu, that makes relax here a full experience.
Together with Infinity Pool comes the Sofit Gym, if you live active lifestyle, go to gym then after have a pool experience with sun shining above you, gaze the skylines and enjoy the delicious cocktails from the Le Rivage Pool Bar .
Sofitel Darling Harbour is one of the best hotels in Sydney. From my own experience I can honestly recommend it to you with my eyes closed. You might want also to visit Atelier by Sofitel and experience the Parisian vibes.
