Discovering new places in Sydney is a never ending story and actually it’s the best for me. I have seen Ivy Pool Bar so many times on the Instagram and finally I organised myself to check it myself. I can easily tell you, Instagram does not lie about here, the place is great! The entrance to the venue is free, you pay for what you order.
Rooftop bar
Ivy Pool Bar is a very special rooftop in Sydney CBD. It is like a hidden heaven in the city centre, especially in the summer. Quick turn from George Street, up to the elevator and you are in the Italian styled bar, surrounded by skyscrapers and palm trees.
Pool
The pool looks gorgeous and give this place a real summer vibes. Do not think pool is just a part of interior design, no no my friend this is an actual pool you can swim in. There are a lot of seating space, from sunbeds and chairs to big sofas which can host a group of friends. The decor colour majorly is white and orange, gives a bit of Italian vibes, elegant but chilled at same time. So far it does sound good, right?
Food & drinks
There is a pool bar menu that serve antipasti like olives, pizza, cheese & meat board. You can choose from different cocktails, wines, beers and non-alcoholic beverages. The staff is very friendly and takes the order from the table you chilling at.
Night life
Ivy is alive from midday to late night. On some days there are parties in Ivy and Pool Club as well. For all the information you can check the website here.
