Sydney Tower Eye, the best view of the city!

This is one of Sydney’s tallest building and a definite must go. If I’m visiting a city, and I have an option to see the views from above, I always go for it. During our stay in Gold Coast we had a quick stop at Sky Point. If you are in Sydney, the place to enjoy the best views of the city is the Sydney Tower Eye. You have several options, listed below.

Observation deck

Very popular attraction for tourists and locals.

The ticket to the tower’s observation deck can be bought as a single or multiple package pass. Luckily, the view of the city close to clouds will undoubtedly be worth it. You get to experience 360 degrees views of Sydney. I recommend the short guided tour (free of charge), which gives you a lot of insight. Find out interesting facts, for example I have learnt where is one of Russel Crowe’s apartments.

If you wish to visit other attractions (such as SeaLife or WildLife), make sure to save money to get the multiple pass. Prices vary depending on the current promotion, but prepare yourself since it will be expensive.

Skywalk

This is the extreme way to enjoy Sydney Eye Tower! Skywalk is the highest outdoor adventure you can experience in Sydney. Secured with the harness you are able to walk around on 268 m high and admire th city. The cost might change, but it is around $60.

Bar 83

An equally good option is to go to a restaurant, bar. You will be charged 30$ per person regardless what you ordered means if you order a soft drink and the price is less than 30$ you will pay 30$ (more or less the cost of the entrance ticket to Observation Deck). The menu includes snacks, sandwiches, sweets and a whole range of drinks. Must be remembered that you will not have 360 degree view in this bar. The view will cover Darling Harbour, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. You can also look up for The Sunset Package.

The only thing I wish to change is to add more vegetarian options to the menu! Plan your visit with this in mind.

Infinity

Next, we have Infinity. Relatively new place on the map, created by merging 360 Bar and Dining. With a new name and interior transformation, it’s a place to go for drinks or dinner with a set tasting menu. The average cost for a 5-course dinner is $ 115.

In conclusion Sydney Tower Eye is something you must experience at least once. I’m in love with the view, so have been there quite few times, in different places. If you become a fan, don’t blame me – I have warned you! ?
